Benton County MCD is comprised of 7 municipalities, located in two counties, plus their surrounding areas. In Benton County we service Kennewick (including Finley), Richland, West Richland, Benton City and Prosser. In Yakima County we service most of Grandview and Mabton.
In 1957, the Washington State legislature passed Revised Code of Washington (RCW) 17.28 – Mosquito Control Districts. This legislation allows for the creation of Mosquito Control Districts and provides guidance and authorities associated with the operation of a District.
Contact the district to report mosquito related issues, request treatment of a potential problematic water site, to request delivery and application of mosquitofish to your water site, to submit a question, or to request additional information from the Benton County Mosquito Control District.
